Located in the heart of Bregenz, the Vorarlberg Museum combines permanent cultural-historical exhibitions with changing themed exhibitions. Visitors can gain interesting insights and enjoy an extraordinary and unique view of Lake Constance.
Even from the outside, the Vorarlberg Museum in Bregenz is an architectural highlight with its façade adorned with 16,656 flowers. The listed buildings were also perfectly integrated into the museum building by Vorarlberg architects Cukrowicz Nachbauer.
The museum itself provides information about Brigantium, its inhabitants and visitors based on the latest scientific findings and archaeological finds. A selection of 26 object groups, each grouped under a generic term, is also on display. The changing exhibitions, which are on display for a limited time, are also well worth seeing. The impressive view of the constantly changing scenery on Lake Constance can be seen from a dark-lined room through a huge panoramic window.
During your next visit to Bregenz, take a stroll along the Bregenz Art Mile and be sure to plan a visit to the Vorarlberg Museum, which is located right next to the Vorarlberger Landestheater and the Kunsthaus Bregenz.
